I took a block course between my semesters. I really like the idea. They give a lecture just during two weeks between the semesters. That lecture is normally presented during a whole semester. So, in order to cover all the subjects in two weeks, they hold the lectures and tutorial sessions everyday in these two weeks. In this course, you even had to hand in a project in the same two weeks. And after that, we had one week to study for the exam.
This is really the type of study I like. Two weeks of intense studying, taking an exam, and then everything’s done. No more work to do. Exactly the opposite of a normal course. You have to deal with it for the whole semester, which is about 4-5 months. And you have to do it with a big amount of context switching, because you normally take 3-6 courses per semester. That’s ridiculous. I wish I could pass all of my courses in this format. But unfortunately, this Reactive Synthesis was the only course they presented this semester in this format. I think I’ll take some more block courses in the next semesters. There’s a practical course, Hands-on Networking, which they present the next semester. I’ll take it. It’s worth 6 ungraded credit points.
By the way, I had the exam for Reactive Synthesis today. It was super easy. It was out of 90 points. If they correct my answers loosely, I may get full score. If not, I expect to get 75 in the worst case. But that’s no problem, because I also got the bonus point for the project. It means even if I get 1.3 in the exam, they will change my grade to 1.0. Then, hooray, I suppose! 😀
Yep, just keep crushing it. 😂 good job.
