Hi!
I watched “The Killer 2023” some nights ago. I was impressed by the style of its main character, especially about the white cloth he used for his simple workout. At the same time, I was thinking about incorporating a workout routine into my schedule, so I just tried mocking him. :))
I took a cloth to my workplace and in the evening that most of my coworkers had left the office, I tried to do some simple workout, such as push-ups and plank. My desk is at a corner of our office, so other people couldn’t see what I was doing down there. It’s good to have such amount of privacy at your workplace. :-“
I can do at most 10 push-ups. When I had less weight, I could do up to 20 push-ups. My first target is to raise my strength to handle that amount of reps. Also, I can do zero number of pull-ups. There is a ladder in the balcony of our office, placed in an inclined position. I can use it to improve my pull-ups too. I can hang my feet to one of its lower steps in order to decrease the amount of weight applied to my hands.
It’s a bit ridiculous. One might say “bro! just get out of the office and register for a gym!”, but I’ve tried that before and failed too many times. I just want to start with something easy.
Another thing I wanted to mention is that I managed to reduce the daily usage of my cigarettes from ~30 per day to 15-16 per day. That’s just by forcing myself to make a delay between smoking two cigarettes, which of course fails some number of times. But this strategy could reduce it considerably. I was planning to reduce it to 8 cigarettes per day at the end of this week, but that’s a bit idealistic. If only I manage to smoke less cigarettes in the morning, I can reduce it to 10 cigarettes per day. I smoke ~5 cigarettes at the beginning of the day, before starting to work. I just have to go inside and start my work immediately after arriving at the office.
Just let’s see what will happen in the future.
