Just a quick update! As I mentioned, I forced myself to go to bed at around 11 p.m. every night this week. Apparently, it’s a good thing because I don’t think my performance suffered, and I was also able to maintain a minimal routine during my days. So, I’ll keep doing it. 🙂
Moreover, because I didn’t feel too sleepy when I was going to bed, I was also able to brush my teeth every night. That’s something I couldn’t do regularly when my sleep schedule was messed up. Most nights, I was just lying in my bed working with my laptop as I eventually fell asleep.
In a lot of movies, when they want to show a hard-working person, they show some scenes of him staying awake and working until late. Under the influence of such movies, I used to think this was a good thing to always work until late. But now I doubt it. How can you perform well the next day if you don’t get enough sleep? Well, some people might be able to do it, but after all these years of imitating this lifestyle and failing miserably, I can say I’m not one of them.
Aside from the sleep topic, I also wanted to incorporate going to the gym into my daily routine, but I couldn’t. Why couldn’t I? That’s a good question. Because I felt weak during the week. Why did I feel weak? Because I didn’t eat breakfast and/or dinner properly. I’ll try to fix it next week. Maybe it works, maybe it won’t. Let’s see.
Nice! Keep it upppppppppp. 😀
You’re doing great!
